To all members: Part of joining Singles Events Plus (SEP) / Events for Couples (EFC) includes agreeing with the following legal statement releasing SEP or EFC from any liability for injuries or otherwise that you incur while on a Singles Events Plus activity. If you do not agree to the following, please remove yourself from the group. Thank you.

DISCLOSURE, RELEASE, HOLD HARMLESS. AND INDEMNITY
I wish to participate in activities offered by SEP or EFC as presented on this website or otherwise. I understand that the group, individual organizers or participants [altogether "SEP or EFC"], organize or sponsor a variety of activities. I recognize that these and other activities involve certain dangers and risks, including actions or omissions of Singles Events Plus members and other persons.

I further recognize that SEP or EFC or other individuals who organize such activities have varying levels of experience and ability. I hereby assume all risks of participation in such activities, including the risk that some other group participant may be grossly negligent. In consideration of the right to participate in the activities offered by Singles Events Plus, I agree [on my behalf and on behalf of any minor or others in my family or group] to RELEASE, HOLD HARMLESS, AND FULLY INDEMNIFY SEP or EFC, and all associated individuals from any and all liability, claims, causes of action, damages, suits, judgments, settlements, orders, fines, penalties, costs, fees, attorney’s fees and costs [altogether "Liability"], arising out of or in any way connected with my participation, or the participation of any minor that I am signing on behalf of or family or group participant, in any activities offered by or related to Singles Events Plus, whether such Liability is based upon an act or omission, mistake, error of judgment, gross negligence or otherwise of 40 Something SEP or EFC members or organizers.

I understand that it is not the function of the SEP or EFC organizers to serve as the guardians of my safety, or the safety of minors or others in my family or group. I personally assume all risks and liabilities in connection with these activities.

I understand this DISCLOSURE, RELEASE, HOLD HARMLESS, AND INDEMNITY is a legally binding agreement, and is binding upon me, my heirs, legal representatives, agents and assigns. This agreement shall be effective for all members of my family or group, including any minors accompanying me. I have read the above, understand it and fully agree to its contents.
